🔑 How to Edit Keywords in Your PodPitch Campaign

Keywords — also known as matching blurbs or targeting keywords — help PodPitch match your campaign with the most relevant podcasts. These keywords tell the algorithm what topics and themes to look for when selecting shows for you.

Best Practices for Strong Keywords

🔹 Be Specific
Instead of “business,” try:
• “B2B SaaS sales strategy”
• “startup fundraising”
• “entrepreneur mental resilience”

🔹 Use Variations
Include related or supporting terms:
• “mental health, wellness, mindfulness, therapy”

🔹 Think Like a Podcast Host
What topics would a host search for when finding a guest like you?

🔹 Update Regularly
Refine your keywords based on match quality and pitch performance.

What Happens After You Edit Keywords

Smart Mode Campaigns:

PodPitch will use your updated keywords to find better matches moving forward.

Existing Emails:

Emails already drafted won’t automatically change, but all new matches will use your latest keywords.

Match Quality:

Expect improved relevance as your keywords become more targeted.

Tips for Better Results

✔ If matches feel irrelevant → Make keywords more specific
✔ If you’re getting too few matches → Broaden your keywords
✔ After updating → Check upcoming matches for quality improvement
