Your targeting settings help PodPitch find the most relevant podcasts for your campaign. Here’s how to review and adjust your audience targeting.

✅ Step-by-Step: Check & Edit Your Targeting

Step 1: Go to Campaigns

Open your PodPitch dashboard and click Campaigns.

Step 2: Select Your Campaign

Choose the campaign whose audience targeting you want to review.

Step 3: Open Targeting Settings

Click Settings, then select Targeting Settings.

Step 4: Edit Your Topic Keywords

Click inside the field labeled “What should the podcast talk about?”

You can:

  • Add new keywords

  • Remove or refine existing ones

These keywords help PodPitch understand what topics you want to target.

Step 5: Adjust Listener Count

Click the listener range section to increase or decrease the audience size of podcasts you want to target.

Step 6: Update Location Filters

Click the location section to choose:

  • Country

  • State

  • City

You can broaden or narrow geographic focus.

Step 7: Save Your Changes

Click Save Changes to apply your updated targeting.


🔍 What to Look For

  • Too Broad?
    If you have thousands of matches, try narrowing your keywords or raising listener thresholds.

  • Too Narrow?
    If you have very few matches, loosen your filters or broaden your topic keywords.

  • Relevance Check:
    Make sure your keywords match the client’s expertise and expected podcast topics.
