Step 1: Go to Manage Plan

What are Profiles and Seats?

It is important to understand the concepts of profiles and seats in PodPitch before proceeding:

  • Profiles represent individual client contact profiles or campaigns.

  • Seats are the billable units under your subscription, with each active profile occupying one seat.

  • On the left-hand side of your dashboard, click the Manage Plan button (purple upward arrow).

Step 2: Add Seats

  • Click Add Seat and enter the number of seats you want to add.

  • Choose your preferred billing frequency:

    • Every 3 months for a discounted rate

    • Annually for the best savings overall

Step 3: Review the Pricing

  • You’ll see exactly how much you’ll be charged today and your updated monthly or annual price going forward.- Billing is based on the number of active seats in your subscription, regardless of whether their associated profiles are active or inactive.

Step 4: Confirm Active Profiles

Before adding seats, double-check that your current profiles (for example, Sebastian, Dr. Tracy, Caroline) still need access. Profiles can only be swapped after a 30-day activity period. If you need to change a profile before this time, you can either purchase an additional seat or wait for the time period to elapse and deactivate the current profile.

  • If you’re only swapping profiles rather than adding new clients, you don’t need to purchase additional seats.- However, if you plan to swap profiles within a 30-day window, purchasing another seat may be necessary to avoid disruptions.

Step 5: Finalize Your Update

Once everything looks correct, click Add Seats to confirm. Your new seats will be active immediately, and your billing will update automatically.

💡 Tip

Adding seats is ideal when you’re bringing on new clients or team members. If you’re only replacing old profiles, you can reuse your existing seats instead. Profiles represent individual clients or campaigns, while seats dictate subscription billing. Deactivating a profile does not reduce billing unless the number of paid seats is adjusted.
