1. Check Your Benchmarks

Strong campaigns typically see:

  • 70%+ open rates

  • 10%+ reply rates

If you’re close to or above these numbers, your campaign is doing well. If not, keep reading for optimization tips.

2. Review Low-Fit Podcasts

PodPitch scores podcasts on a 1–10 scale.

  • 3/10 or 4/10 podcasts are usually poor fits.

  • Remove them by clicking Skip Pitch.

  • If you think the system misjudged:

    • Click Thumbs Up/Down and leave a short note (5+ words).

    • Update the score to 6/10 or higher if it’s actually a good match.

This feedback helps improve your future recommendations.

3. Analyze Replies

Look at the Replied tab to understand responses:

  • If negative replies come from low-fit podcasts, remove similar ones.

  • If the issue is content-based (e.g., you don’t want paid opportunities), update your filters so those podcasts don’t show up again.

4. Use Bulk Edit to Save Time

Instead of updating one by one, use Bulk Edit to:

  • Skip multiple poor-fit podcasts at once.

  • Adjust scores in groups (e.g., raise several to 6/10).

Why This Works

By cutting out irrelevant podcasts, you:

  • Improve reply rates.

  • Reduce negative responses.

  • Train PodPitch to surface more relevant matches next time.

Final Tip 💡

Remember: not every podcast is the right fit. The more you refine and give feedback, the stronger your campaigns will become over time.
