Step 1: Start a New Campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns from your dashboard.

  2. Click the green Create Campaign button.

  3. Select Podcasts as the campaign type.

  4. Choose the Profile you want to pitch from (e.g., your client or yourself).

    • Most users pitch in the third person (e.g., PR team pitching on behalf of a client).

  5. Select which email inbox your pitches will be sent from and where replies will go.

Step 2: Add Keywords & Instructions

  • Use the Keyword & Instruction Box to guide PodPitch on which podcasts to find.

  • Enter specific keywords (e.g., AI infrastructure, insuretech, artificial intelligence).

  • Write full sentences for the best results.

    • Example: “I want to target podcasts that focus on the future of AI in insurance technology.”

  • Exclude irrelevant shows by adding negative instructions.

    • Example: “Do not include finance-only podcasts.”

💡 Tip: The system expands your keywords into related terms (e.g., insurtech = insurance tech knowledge), so you get a wider but still relevant reach.

Step 3: Apply Filters

  1. Set your Smart Fit threshold (recommended: 6/10 or higher).

  2. Choose location filters (e.g., US-only, Worldwide).

  3. Adjust listener counts (exclude very small or very large shows if needed).

  4. Click Find My Podcasts to generate results.

Step 4: Review Podcast Matches

  • PodPitch will display the top 10 matches to start with.

  • Review podcast titles and descriptions for relevancy.

  • Adjust the ranking (1–10) for each podcast.

  • Add or remove shows as needed.

Step 5: Name Your Campaign & Review Subject Lines

  1. Give your campaign a clear title (e.g., Alex – AI for Insurtech).

  2. Review the auto-generated subject lines.

    • Improve them by asking:

      • What problem do I solve?

      • How do I solve it?

      • Who do I solve it for?

  3. Edit subject lines to better match your campaign strategy.

Step 6: Launch Your Campaign

  • Click Create Campaign.

  • Your campaign will appear on the dashboard, ready to run.

Best Practices

  • ✅ Be specific with your keywords and exclusions for better matches.

  • ✅ Always review subject lines — they’re critical to open rates.

  • ✅ Use PodPitch’s Smart Fit to filter out poor matches.

  • ✅ Test, refine, and adjust over time for best results.

✅ That’s it! You’ve built your first PodPitch campaign.
