Why Use Smart Mode?
Many PodPitch users tell us they don’t have enough time to send pitches manually. Smart Mode was built to:
✅ Automate your daily sending
✅ Ensure consistent outreach without extra effort
✅ Let you spend time where it matters most: reviewing and approving podcasts
Step 1: Vet Podcasts First
From your Campaigns dashboard, select your active campaign.
Review the podcasts in the left-hand queue.
Click Learn to skim descriptions and recent episodes.
Leave podcasts in the queue if they’re a good fit.
Step 2: Switch to Smart Mode
At the top of your campaign, click Smart Mode.
The system will ask how many new pitches you’d like sent each day.
💡 Recommended Settings:
Week 1: 5–6 pitches/day (to warm up your email).
Increase gradually until you reach up to 20 pitches/day.
Step 3: Understand Pitch & Follow-Up Limits
Smart Mode sends up to 20 new pitches/day.
Follow-ups (first and second) do not count against your daily limit.
Example: You can have 20 new sequences plus ongoing follow-ups, sending each day.
Step 4: Customize Follow-Up Timing
Choose how many days to wait between follow-ups.
Optionally include weekends, though we recommend weekdays only since most hosts check email Monday–Friday.
Step 5: Activate Smart Mode
Click Yes, Activate Smart Mode.
PodPitch will now automatically deliver pitches from your vetted queue.
Your main job becomes reviewing emails for accuracy before they are sent.
Best Practices
🔥 Start slow to protect deliverability — warm up gradually.
👀 Always vet podcasts before they’re queued.
📅 Avoid including weekends for better open and reply rates.
✅ Once Smart Mode is active, you can confidently step back knowing PodPitch is sending your pitches consistently.
