PodPitch enables users to efficiently manage their campaigns, whether starting, resuming, or creating new campaigns. This guide outlines the actions you can take, the available campaign modes, and additional details to ensure successful campaign management.
Many PodPitch users tell us they don’t have enough time to send pitches manually. Smart Mode was built to: PodPitch also offers a second mode called Manual Mode, which gives users complete control over podcast selection and pitching. While Smart Mode automates the process, Manual Mode allows for a more personalized approach, making it ideal for those who prefer hands-on management.
Smart Mode is ideal for users who want an AI-assisted, time-effective approach, relying on automation to handle day-to-day email pitches. Manual Mode, on the other hand, offers full control over the pitching process, allowing for detailed customization of emails and hands-on management.

Step 1: Vet Podcasts First
From your Campaigns dashboard, select your active campaign.
Review the podcasts in the left-hand queue.
Click Learn to skim descriptions and recent episodes.
Leave podcasts in the queue if they’re a good fit.
Step 2: Switch to Smart Mode
At the top of your campaign, click Smart Mode.
The system will ask how many new pitches you’d like sent each day.
💡 Recommended Settings:
Week 1: 5–6 pitches/day (to warm up your email).
Increase gradually until you reach up to 20 pitches/day.
Step 3: Understand Pitch & Follow-Up Limits
Smart Mode sends up to 20 new pitches/day.
Follow-ups (first and second) do not count against your daily limit.
Example: You can have 20 new sequences plus ongoing follow-ups, sending each day.
Step 4: Customize Follow-Up Timing
Choose how many days to wait between follow-ups.
Optionally include weekends, though we recommend weekdays only since most hosts check email Monday–Friday.
Step 5: Activate Smart Mode
Click Yes, Activate Smart Mode.
PodPitch will now automatically deliver pitches from your vetted queue.
Your main job becomes reviewing emails for accuracy before they are sent.

👀 Always vet podcasts before they’re queued.
📅 Avoid including weekends for better open and reply rates.

Creating a New Campaign
You can create a new campaign without interfering with any existing ones. Follow these steps to set up a new campaign:
Click the + New Campaign button on the Campaigns page.
Choose a campaign mode:
Smart Mode: AI-assisted automation for quicker, effortless email sending.
Manual Mode: Offers full control for detailed customization.
Enter all the required campaign details and follow the prompts to complete the setup process. Your new campaign will be configured and ready to run without affecting archived or existing campaigns.

Can I keep my training campaign and create a new one?
Yes, there’s no need to delete or modify the training campaign to start a new one. The training campaign can remain archived and will not interfere with your ability to create and run new campaigns.
