How to Turn Off or Deactivate a Campaign

If you need to stop a campaign from running — for example, when a profile is no longer active — you can easily deactivate it from your account.

Step 1: Go to Campaigns

  1. From your dashboard, click Campaigns in the left-hand menu.

  2. Find the campaign you’d like to turn off.

Step 2: Deactivate the Campaign

  1. Click the drop-down menu next to the campaign name.

  2. Select Deactivate.

    • This will stop new emails from being sent.

Step 3: Check for Active Sends

  • If a campaign still has pitches scheduled, you’ll see a reminder message such as:

“Please make sure to pause or turn off active campaigns.”

  • Pause or stop any active sends before deactivation is complete.

Step 4: Review Profiles Linked to the Campaign

  • Some profiles may still have time left in their campaign window (e.g., 2–5 days).

  • Deactivating a campaign linked to these profiles will prevent additional sends.

Step 5: Reuse or Reassign Seats

  • Once a campaign is deactivated, you can:

    • Swap that seat to a new profile.

    • Reuse it for another campaign.

  • Need help managing seat assignments? Contact our support team for assistance.

✅ That’s it! Your campaign is now inactive and will no longer send new emails.

💡 Tip: If you’re planning to restart later, consider pausing instead of deactivating. Pausing lets you quickly pick up where you left off.
