How to Add a Podcast to the Excluded List

Excluding podcasts ensures they won’t accidentally appear in your future campaigns. Here’s how to add (or remove) a podcast from your excluded list.

Step 1: Search for the Podcast

  1. Go to Databases in your PodPitch dashboard.

  2. Select Podcasts, then click on Search Podcast Database

  3. Click on New Search

  4. Then Search by Ideas or Search by Keywords, Keywords is better for searching for a specific podcast and know the name

  5. Type the podcast title in the search bar (e.g., Unconventional Leaders).

    • ✅ Tip: Double-check the exact title (e.g., Leaders vs. Leadership).

  6. Click Search.

Step 2: Exclude the Podcast

  1. Once the podcast appears, click the checkmark icon.

  2. Select Ban.

    • This adds the podcast to your Excluded List.

    • It will no longer be pulled into your campaigns.

Step 3: Undo or Manage Excluded Podcasts

You can always undo exclusions later:

  1. Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Team.

  3. Scroll to find the list of excluded podcasts.

  4. To restore one, click Remove next to the podcast name.

💡 Tip: Excluding podcasts is fully reversible — you’re in control of what gets included in your outreach.
