🎧 How to Exclude a Podcast from a Campaign in PodPitch

Excluding a podcast lets you remove shows that aren’t a fit so they won’t appear in your outreach list again. Here’s how to exclude — and restore — a podcast from a campaign.

Step 1: Open Your Campaign

Go to Campaigns → click your campaign title.

Step 2: Go to "In Progress"

Click In Progress to see the podcasts currently queued to pitch.

Step 3: Select the Podcast You Want to Exclude

Click on the podcast card to open its details.

Step 4: Click “Ban Selected”

This removes the podcast from your active pitching list.

Step 5: Confirm Exclusion

A prompt will appear → click Add to Exclusion List to confirm.

The podcast is now added to your Excluded List and will no longer be pulled into this campaign.


♻️ How to Restore an Excluded Podcast

If you excluded a podcast by mistake, you can bring it back.

Step 1: Open Campaign Settings

Click Settings inside your campaign.

Step 2: Open the Exclusion List

Find the Excluded or Skipped section.

Step 3: Click “Remove”

Click Remove next to the podcast you want to restore.

The podcast will now be re-eligible for pitching in your campaign.


🔍 Important Notes

Campaign-Specific Exclusions

  • Excluding a podcast affects only that one campaign.

  • Other campaigns are not impacted.

Smart Mode

  • Smart Mode automatically removes excluded podcasts from future matches.

  • The AI will not suggest them again.

Manual Mode

  • Excluded podcasts disappear from your available list.

  • You will not see them when browsing for options.

Repitching

  • If repitching is enabled, excluded podcasts remain excluded permanently (unless restored manually).

Feedback Helps

When excluding a show, you may see options such as:

  • Not relevant

  • Already appeared

  • Not a good fit

These help improve future matching.

Viewing Excluded Podcasts

You can view them anytime under:

  • Excluded, Skipped, or Not Eligible tabs (depending on your interface)
