Step 1: Go to Campaigns
From your left-hand menu, click Campaigns.
Step 2: Select Your Campaign
Open the campaign you want to switch from Smart Mode to Manual Mode.
Step 3: Locate the Mode Toggle
At the top of your campaign, you’ll see the mode options:
Off / Manual / Smart
Step 4: Switch Smart to Manual
Click Manual to deactivate Smart Mode and switch to a hands-on workflow.
What Happens When You Switch to Manual
Smart Mode stops sending automated emails
Scheduled Smart emails stop
You now manually approve each send
Daily sending limits still apply
Existing follow-up sequences continue as scheduled
Troubleshooting
If you can’t switch modes, it may be because:
The campaign has pending emails generating
The campaign is paused
Your connected email needs re-authentication
There’s an OAuth token issue
