🚫 Why Was My Campaign Paused?

If your campaign was paused, it usually means something needs your attention before emails can continue sending. Don’t worry — this is designed to protect your account and improve deliverability. Below are the most common reasons and how to fix them.

🔌 1. Email Disconnected or Needs Reauthorization

Your campaign requires an active, connected email inbox to send pitches.

Why does this happen?

  • Your email password was changed

  • Permissions expired (common with Gmail/Outlook)

  • The connection was manually removed

How to fix:
Go to Settings → Connected Emails / Mailboxes and reconnect your inbox.


👤 2. No Active Profile with a Seat

Each campaign must have an active profile assigned with a valid subscription (seat).

Why this happens?

  • The profile was removed or swapped

  • The seat was removed or expired

  • A new profile was added, but not assigned a seat

How to fix:
Go to Profiles → Subscriptions column → “Add Podcast” (or relevant product) to assign a seat.


⏸️ 3. Subscription Paused (Database Access Mode)

If your account is paused, all outreach stops automatically.

What this means:

  • Campaigns become read-only

  • No new emails or follow-ups are sent

  • Account is in Database Access Mode ($19.99/month)

How to fix:
Reactivate your subscription to resume sending.


⚙️ 4. Campaign Set to “Off”

Your campaign may simply be turned off.

How to check:

  • Go to Campaigns

  • Open your campaign

  • Check the toggle in the top right (Off / Manual / Smart)

Switch it to Manual or Smart to resume sending.


✉️ 5. Missing or Incomplete Email Setup

Campaigns can pause if required fields aren’t set properly.

Common issues:

  • No subject line added

  • Templates not applied correctly

  • Emails are not rewritten after changes

How to fix:

  • Open your campaign

  • Check your templates

  • Click Rewrite Emails to apply updates


🚨 6. Sending or Deliverability Issues

To protect your inbox reputation, sending may be paused if there are risks.

Examples:

  • Email provider temporarily restricted your account

  • Sending limits exceeded

  • Authentication issues (DKIM/SPF not set properly)

What to do:
Reconnect your email and reduce sending volume if needed. If the issue persists, reach out to support.


🧠 Good to Know

Pausing a campaign does not delete anything:

  • Your pitches stay saved

  • Your progress is محفوظ

  • You can resume anytime once the issue is resolved
