✨ What a Voice Actually Does
A Voice helps PodPitch understand:
Your writing tone
Your sentence structure
How formal or conversational you are
Your general communication style
The examples you add are used as training references — they are not copied directly into pitches.
This means the AI will not reproduce your example emails word-for-word. Instead, it uses them as guidance to influence how future pitches are written.
If you want complete control over exact wording, structure, or formatting, Templates are the better option.
✅ Step 1: Open Voices
From your dashboard:
Go to Settings (⚙️)
Select Voices
✅ Step 2: Create a New Voice
Click Add New Voice
You’ll then:
Give your Voice a name
Add writing examples
Include any optional instructions about tone or style
✅ Step 3: Add Strong Examples
The quality of your examples matters a lot.
We recommend adding at least 5 complete email examples for the best results.
Good examples should:
Sound natural
Match the tone you want
Be complete outreach emails or sequences
Represent how you genuinely write
The AI learns patterns from these examples over time.
⚠️ Voice training is not instant. The AI may not perfectly match your style immediately, especially with only a few examples.
✅ Step 4: Save Your Voice
Once you’re done, click Save.
Your Voice will then become available inside campaign settings.
✅ Step 5: Apply the Voice to Campaigns
Inside your campaign settings, you can select your Voice from the Voice dropdown.
After selecting it, use:
Rewrite Emails
or regenerate pitches
to apply the updated Voice styling to your campaign content.
⚠️ Important Expectations
Voices influence writing style, but they do not guarantee:
exact phrasing
identical formatting
word-for-word replication
immediate perfect tone matching
If you are very particular about exact messaging or structure, we strongly recommend using Templates instead of relying only on Voice training.
Templates give you much tighter control over the final email output.
💡 Best Practices
Voices work best when paired with:
clear targeting keywords
good campaign context
strong profile positioning
realistic writing examples
You can also create multiple Voices for different outreach styles, such as:
Conversational
Executive
Short-form
Authority-driven
Friendly and casual
