🔧 How It Works

1. Enter a News Hook

Start by entering a headline-style sentence that captures your story’s angle.
Example:

“Why Remote Work Is the Future of the Housing Market.”

PodPitch uses this keyword-rich news hook to match you with journalists currently covering related topics.

2. Smart Matching & Filtering

The system automatically finds journalists based on your preferences, filtering by:

  • Outlet type: TV, Online, Print, etc.

  • Country or city

  • Website traffic or reach

  • Language

3. AI-Written PR Emails

PodPitch’s AI creates your emails in your chosen tone or format, such as:

  • ✉️ Traditional PR

  • ⚡ Gen Z Short

  • 🧠 Axios Smart Brevity

Each message is personalized to the journalist’s beat and publication.

4. Pitch Butler Sends the Emails

Your Pitch Butler sends up to 3 emails per journalist (1 initial + 2 follow-ups), spaced 4 business days apart.
If there’s no reply, it automatically moves on to the next relevant contact at that outlet.

5. Replies Go Straight to You

When a journalist replies, you’ll see their message:

  • In your email inbox

  • Inside PodPitch → Replies tab
