If you’re searching for a podcast in PodPitch but it’s not appearing, don’t worry — there are a few common reasons this can happen. Our system filters out shows that typically aren’t a good match for pitching, which helps improve your campaign quality.

✅ Possible Reasons a Podcast Doesn’t Appear

1. We Don’t Have Their Email Yet

If a podcast’s email address isn’t publicly available or verified in our database, it may not appear in search results.

2. Topic or Category Is Filtered Out

Some niche or religious categories (e.g., church-related podcasts) may be excluded from search results to prevent mismatches.

3. The Podcast Doesn’t Take Guest Interviews

If a show indicates that it never accepts external guests, PodPitch automatically excludes it so you don’t waste time pitching.

4. Fewer Than 10 Episodes

We prioritize more established podcasts. Shows with fewer than 10 episodes are often filtered out because they are considered inactive or too new.

5. No Recent Episodes

If a podcast hasn’t released an episode in 90+ days, it is treated as inactive and removed from search visibility.
