👤 How to Use Profiles in PodPitch 2.0

Profiles are the command center for your outreach in PodPitch. In Profiles 2.0, you can manage clients, improve bios with AI, track outreach activity, and control subscriptions from one unified dashboard.

📍 Where to Find Profiles

  1. Click Profiles in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. You’ll see the Profiles 2.0 dashboard (marked with a purple BETA badge).

Instead of switching between separate tabs, Podcasts, Journalists, and Newsletters now appear in a single unified list.

🧭 Understanding the Profiles Dashboard

The Profiles page includes several columns that help you manage outreach quickly.

Bio Grade

Each profile now receives a Bio Grade that evaluates how strong and “pitchable” the bio is.

Hover over the grade to see:

  • Why the score was assigned

  • Suggestions for improvement


Subscriptions

Manage outreach services directly from the profile row.

You can add services such as:

  • Podcast pitching

  • Journalist pitching

  • Newsletter pitching

This allows faster updates without leaving the dashboard.

Pitches This Week

Track how many pitches have been sent for each profile in real time.

This helps you quickly monitor outreach activity.


View Campaigns

Click View Campaigns to see the campaigns associated with that profile.


✨ How to Improve a Profile Bio with AI

Profiles 2.0 includes an AI workflow that helps strengthen bios for better outreach performance.

Step 1

Find the Bio Grade next to the profile.

Step 2

Hover over the grade to see improvement suggestions.

Step 3

Click Improve.

Step 4

Inside the editor, click Improve for me.

The AI will generate an updated bio based on available information.

🌐 AI Web Search Bio Updates

The AI can also scan the web to pull updated information about a person or brand.

You can add instructions such as:

  • “Focus on recent startup exits”

  • “Avoid mentioning specific companies”

Once complete, you can review the results in multiple views.


Reviewing AI Edits

You’ll see four review tabs:

Summary
Highlights key changes made to the bio.

Old Bio vs New Bio
Side-by-side comparison.

Redlines
Shows additions (green) and removals (red).

Finalize
Choose:

  • Accept Edits

  • Edit Manually


🔧 Managing Profile Subscriptions

Subscriptions are now controlled directly inside each profile.

Add a Service

  1. Click Add Podcast, Add Journalist, or Add Newsletter.

  2. Choose a billing option:

    • Monthly

    • Quarterly

    • Annual

  3. Click Save.


Upgrade a Plan

Click the $ icon or Upgrade button to move to a higher tier.


🔄 Moving a Subscription Between Profiles

If you need to move a service to another client:

  1. Click the Move Subscription icon (two arrows).

  2. Choose the destination profile.

  3. Confirm the move.

⚠️ Note: A moved subscription cannot be moved again for 30 days.

👁️ Filtering Profiles

Use the toggle at the top of the page:

Hide/Show Profiles Without Subscriptions

This allows you to quickly focus on active clients.


📊 Tracking Outreach Activity

Profiles also show weekly outreach metrics.

You can view:

  • Pitches sent this week

  • Campaign activity

  • Client performance

Click View Campaigns to see detailed sequences.
